About Me

Jack Eberenz, a franchise industry veteran who has been a franchisee as well as taken a variety of concepts to franchisor status, has joined brandEXPANSION as Director of Franchise Development.

Eberenz comes to the company from Impac International, a company he founded with offices in Boston and Phoenix. During his tenure there, he helped take restaurants, tour companies, real estate businesses, executive coaching concepts, retail stores, high-tech services, handyman/maintenance and assisted living facilities into the franchising arena.

He knows the franchise industry from the other side as well. After obtaining a BS degree from Syracuse University School of Management, Eberenz joined a major grain company and traded grain on the Fort Wayne, Indianapolis, and Chicago Boards of Trade. He then became Vice President and General Manager of an independent retail group where in addition to his management duties in wholesale and retail he established 5 new divisions from inception, through facilities construction, operational start-up and financial success.

In 1977 he saw a franchise opportunity and bought it. By 1979 it was the biggest franchise in the system and Eberenz was hired to become President of the franchisor. After one year the company had tripled in size and the Board of Directors sold the company. Almost immediately, literally within 2 weeks, companies started calling Jack and asking how he did it.

Since 1990 Jack has applied advanced management techniques to over 200 companies, teaching their managers how to sustain growth and improve profits.

As Director of Franchise Development with brandEXPANSION, Eberenz is poised to take many more companies to that same level of success.
